Welcome to the world of Hand Dyed Harmony

Hand Dyed Harmony was born from a love for yarn, colors, and crafting by hand. Every skein, button, and stitch marker is made on a small scale, thoughtfully and with great heart, in Vesilahti.

Founded in 2022, Hand Dyed Harmony is a small part-time business that believes something special emerges in small batches. When there's no need to produce large quantities, there's room for creativity, new ideas, and details – precisely what makes a handmade product unique.

Our selection includes hand-dyed yarns, resin buttons and stitch markers made from wild flowers, and carefully chosen accessories for knitters.

Our hand-dyed yarns are characterized by harmonious shades and a soft pastel world. Inspiration can be found anywhere; seasons, flowers, gardens, sky hues, and small everyday moments. Each color is carefully designed to blend beautifully with other shades and bring joy both on its own and as part of a larger knitting project.

The yarns are dyed in small batches at our home in Vesilahti. Each dye lot is a unique entity, which means there may be slight variations in the shades of the same color. This is part of the charm of hand-dyed yarn – each skein is one of a kind. Small dye lots allow us to experiment with new color combinations, continuously develop new ideas, and give space to creativity.

The flowers used for the buttons and stitch markers are collected from our local area, carefully dried, and cast in resin. Each flower is different, so no two buttons are exactly alike.

Hand Dyed Harmony's booth is like a knitter's candy store – full of harmonious pastel shades, small details, and products that invite you to touch, be inspired, and create.

Some of our products are available here in the online shop, some in our Etsy shop, and some exclusively at craft fairs and events.
